Gasopod Egg (2x2) can be found in Crash Zone Mesas, Dunes, and Safe Shallows Zones with an energy value 231. Cuddlefish Egg (1) can be found in Deep Grand Reef Degasi Base, Dunes Sinkhole, Lost River Laboratory, Northeaster Mushroom Forest Caves, Northwestern Mushroom Forest Caves Zones with an energy Value 210.
Crashfish Egg (1) can be found in Kelp Forest Caves, Safe Shallows, and Safe Shallows Cave Zones with an energy value of 189. Crabsquid Egg (2x2) can be found in Deep Grand Reef, Northern Blood, and Kelp Zones with an energy value 259. Crabsnake Egg (2x2) can be found in Jellyshroom Cave with an energy value 231. Boneshark Egg (2x2) can be found in Bulb, Mushroom Forest, and Underwater Islands Zones with an energy value 210. Normal EggsĪmpeel Egg (2x2) can bound in Blood Kelp and Bulb Zone with an energy value 259. Just make sure to check the population limit isn't exceeded, or else the animals will die. There are two different types of eggs, ones for normal creatures and bosses, all labeled below with their respective video game biomes. This is when players should move the creature into the aquarium. After different amounts of time, depending on the egg, they will hatch into smaller animal versions. Once creature eggs are found, they can be placed in Alien Containment. Eggs can also be used as fuel for the Bioreactor in the Mobile Bay, although they do not provide as much energy as a fully grown creature. When hatched this way, most creatures will not attack the player, except the Ampeel and the Crabsquid. Sometimes, the ray can be attacked by Brute Sharks, indicating that it is not at the top of its food web.Of the many uses, eggs can be scanned, added to the databank, and then released into the wild. The Arctic Ray can be seen preying on smaller fish that it finds nearby (despite what the databank says), but it will be passive towards the player. Alternatively, it is possible that some of these are mere eyespots, and the number of actual eyes is lower.
There is one central oval-shaped eye on either side, larger than all of the others and embedded into the body, with six smaller eyes protruding from the sides of the body attached to slender eye stalks for a total of fourteen eyes. On the central body is an extremely odd arrangement of eyes - seven on both the dorsal and ventral sides of the body, all of which glow bright pink. On the underside of the ray's front fins is a small mouth filled with sharp teeth. The Arctic Ray has a strange swimming motion, wherein it twists its body back and forth between the pairs of fins, rather than flapping each pair. Two stalks protrude from the front on the dorsal side. The creature sports two large pairs of fins on each side of its body, with the front pair being smaller than the posterior ones. The ventral side of the ray seems to be mostly cyan in color, with the dorsal side being red. The tail is club-shaped, purple in color and adorned with two translucent blue fins. The Arctic Ray's body is bulky and turquoise in color, covered with horizontal red stripes from the eyes to the tail.
